A 23 years old model Nicaraguan wins miss universe 2023.

  

Sheynnis Palacios, a 23-year-old model and beauty queen from Nicaragua, emerged victorious at the 72nd annual Miss Universe pageant held in San Salvador on Saturday night. This historic win marks the first time a delegate from Nicaragua has claimed the prestigious Miss Universe title. 

   Sheynnis, who began competing in national pageants at the age of 16, showcased her exceptional talent and beauty throughout the competition. Her remarkable performances in both the swimsuit and evening gown segments propelled her to the next rounds.     

     The Miss Universe organization highlights Sheynnis' aspiration to make a difference in the world by working in the field of journalism and creating content and advertisements for global brands. 

    Alongside Sheynnis' triumph, the event also witnessed several groundbreaking moments, including the participation of two mothers, two transgender women, and a plus-size individual. The crown was passed on to Sheynnis by last year's winner, R'Bonney Nola Gabriel from the United States.
