"Amaechi is currently down with kidney disease, diabetes and stroke" — Tony Oneweek Muonagor

The cousin of Amaechi Muonagor, Tony Oneweek, has provided an update on his health following the veteran actor's plea from his sick bed.

 In a detailed post, Oneweek revealed that his cousin is currently undergoing weekly dialysis and other treatments at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital Nnewi due to a stroke, diabetes, and kidney disease.

He also mentioned that his family has been covering his medical expenses for years, but the recent stroke prompted them to seek assistance. Generous donations have been received from the actor's supporters, organizations, and compassionate Nigerians who genuinely care for him.

However, Oneweek stressed that despite  all the efforts made so far, additional funds are still required for his cousin's complete treatment and recovery. He kindly appealed to Nigerians to contribute to this cause.

 Oneweek has addressed rumors about his relationship with Amaechi by sharing a photograph of the actor on his sickbed.
