"Blessing CEO was right about Edo girls" — Kemi Olunloyo.

A journalist, Kemi Olunloyo who's known for her controversial views, has sided with relationship expert Blessing CEO regarding her contentious statement about Edo women.

Blessing CEO faced backlash after claiming that most Benin mothers are negligent and only interested in exploiting their daughters for financial gain by pushing them into the sex trade. She reiterated that there are no mature women in Benin, as the majority of them work as prostitutes abroad.

In response, Kemi Olunloyo supported Blessing CEO's statement, sharing her own experience from 2007 when she lived in Canada. She discovered that a significant number of Edo girls were being trafficked to Italy for prostitution, with their mothers'knowledge and approval.

Kemi stated,

"Blessing CEO was right about Edo girls though. I found out about this in 2007 in Canada that most are trafficked for prostitution in Italy and some mothers were well aware and supported it. The ones trafficked from Italy to Canada usually have small children and their goal is to get Canadian PR cards leading to citizenship."

She also mentioned that the Oba of Benin had previously condemned the traffickers, holding them responsible. Kemi shared the story of a woman who appeared on Arise News, recounting her harrowing experience of being deceived, promised work, and ultimately forced into sexual slavery. Kemi further highlighted that many Nigerian females were involved in organizing prostitution rings in Ghana as well.

Kemi has urged people to be aware of the reality of human trafficking and to set aside tribal sentiments. She encouraged everyone to learn more about this issue by visiting the official website of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) in Nigeria.
