Tani Olohun regains freedom after spending 92 days in detention.


 Tani Olohun, the Isese activist who was detained at the Okekura Correctional Facility in Ilorin, Kwara state for 92 days, has finally been released.

 He was arrested on August 16 on charges of criminal conspiracy, inciting public disturbance, disturbance of public peace, criminal defamation of character, and intentional insult.In October and November, he faced additional charges of defamation and burning of a Quran. 

On November 16, 2023, he was granted bail in the sum of N2 million and three sureties in the like sum.

 The Isese Welfare Association   representative, Ifálétí Ajíbòrìṣà, explained the process of securing his bail, which involved meeting the court's demands for two categories of bail applications. 

Adegbola expressed his gratitude to Ifa and everyone who supported and prayed for him.
