"Those who want DNA test should pay for it" — Wummi, Late Mohbad wife.
The wife of Late Mohbad, Wunmi Aloba, has finally spoken out about the controversies surrounding her family, specifically accusing her father-in-law of causing delays in conducting a DNA test. The demand for a DNA test to determine the paternity of Mohbad's baby, Liam Light, has been an ongoing issue since the singer's passing two months ago.
Considering her current financial difficulties and the sole responsibility of raising Liam, Wunmi has taken a strong position. She firmly stated that those advocating for a DNA test should be prepared to cover the associated expenses.
The event took a more personal turn recently during Iyabo Ojo's live Instagram session, where Wunmi's willingness to undergo a DNA test was highlighted.
This new development adds another layer to the unfolding drama, shedding light on the challenging circumstances faced by Wunmi. As a mother of one, she revealed that neither her father-in-law nor his lawyer has formally requested a DNA test through her lawyer.
Moreover, Wunmi mentioned that apart from the public demand on social media, no one has approached her to arrange or discuss plans for the paternity test.
According to Iyabo Ojo, who shared details of their conversation, Wunmi stated that no one has informed her or reached out to her directly. She emphasized that she has only become aware of the situation through social media. Additionally, Wunmi expressed her inability to afford the DNA test, as she is currently managing her financial situation on her own.
"She said no one has informed her, no one has reached out, that she is only seeing it on social media. She said her father-in-law’s lawyer has not reached out to her lawyer. Those who want DNA test should pay for it, I am managing myself and I cannot afford it,”
The Nollywood Iyabo Ojo disclosed following their conversation.
