Lagos Police apprehended a suspected robber and recover firearm.

  The Lagos State Police Command has apprehended a 31-year-old man named Johnson Ogunsanya and has successfully recovered a locally made firearm. SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the Police Public Relations Officer, released a statement on his official account on Tuesday, providing details of the arrest.

  According to the statement, diligent patrol officers from the Owode Onirin Division noticed five young men surrounding a broken down truck. 

  Upon approaching the scene, the officers observed the young men fleeing. 

  However, they managed to apprehend one of them, Johnson Ogunsanya, who was found in possession of a locally fabricated firearm. The ongoing investigation suggests that a robbery was in progress.
