“It would tell me I’m a king so I’ll take things without paying” — Solidstar shares his journey with drugs addiction

 Solidstar, the Nigerian musician also known as Joshua Iniyezo, recently shared a distressing account of his struggles with substance abuse since 2021. Last year, he was spotted wandering the streets in a state of mental distress. 

 In a video shared by his brother, it was revealed that his mental health had been deteriorating for some time, despite efforts by the family to keep it private. 

 Solidstar, who appears to be in better health now, opened up about how he was introduced to Ice, a highly addictive substance, by some individuals back in 2021. He acknowledged that the drugs had a detrimental impact on his life.

 The singer recounted how he began hearing voices in his head, convincing him that he was a king who should not have to pay for anything.

 As a result, he found himself walking long distances and living a substandard life, despite his status as a celebrity.
