Rachel Akowe, a former contestant on Big Brother Naija, has fired back at Daddy Freeze, a controversial radio host, after he criticized her views on men who earn a salary of N800K. Rachel took to the microblogging platform, X, to highlight the financial struggles faced by men earning such a salary in Lagos.

In her response, Rachel not only ridiculed Daddy Freeze but also highlighted the irony of his livelihood being dependent on sitting behind a ring light and discussing the personal lives of others.
According to her post, she said, “It’s sad that most people aren’t bold enough to accept the reality of things in this country. Ordinary $500 is what’s making this man shed tears? What do I expect from a man whose source of livelihood is TikTok gifts, looking for any opportunity to jump in front of a ringlight,”
