A young man in US committed suicide after he was scammed.

On the morning of March 25, 2022, a tragic incident unfolded that left the parents of 17-year-old Jordan DeMay in utter shock. Unbeknownst to them, Jordan had been engaged in an online relationship with an individual he met on Instagram. However, what he didn't realize was that the person he was communicating with was not who they claimed to be. In fact, they were two Nigerian men named Samuel and Samson Ogoshi, aged 22 and 20 respectively.

As their online relationship progressed, Jordan and this individual exchanged explicit photographs. Little did Jordan know that these images would later be used against him in a cruel act of extortion. The Ogoshi brothers, in possession of Jordan's intimate photos, demanded a sum of $1000 from him. Despite managing to send $300, it was not enough to satisfy their greed. In a sinister turn of events, they threatened to expose these photos to Jordan's Instagram followers if he failed to send the remaining amount.

Desperate and feeling trapped, Jordan reached a breaking point. He sent a final message to the Ogoshi brothers, expressing his intention to end his own life due to the torment they had inflicted upon him. Shockingly, their response was callous and heartless, encouraging him to carry out his plan or face further consequences.

Fortunately, the authorities were able to apprehend the Ogoshi brothers in Nigeria and extradite them to the United States to face trial for their heinous actions. This devastating news serves as a reminder of the dangers that can lurk behind online interactions and the importance of vigilance in protecting oneself and loved ones from such malicious individuals.
