The Mister of Defence, Mohammed Abubakar visits wounded soildiers in Borno State.

 Mohammed Abubakar, the Defence Minister, made a trip to Borno State to meet with Governor Babagana Zulum and visit injured soldiers at a military hospital in the area. 

The purpose of Abubakar's visit was to assess the challenges faced by Nigerian Army troops, as directed by President Bola Tinubu.

 The Nigerian Army Facebook page shared photos from the visit on Wednesday, with a statement indicating that the visit took place on Tuesday. 

During the visit, Abubakar was briefed on operational activities and the security situation in the North East theatre by Theatre Commander Major General Gold Chibuisi before visiting wounded personnel receiving treatment at the 7 Division Medical Services and Hospital.
