The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) and the Sokoto Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) visits the IDPs attacked by bandits in Sokoto



In a common operation with the Sokoto Emergency Management Agency, the National Emergency Management Agency( NEMA) lately conducted an assessment of the situation of internally displaced persons( IDPs) in three original government areas( LGAs) of Sokoto State. 

The LGAs affected by the attack are Rabah, Wurno, and Goronyo. During the attack, unknown markswomen killed some people and injured others, and also set fire to homes, silos, and shops. likewise, the bandits made off with further than a thousand creatures. 




This was bared in a statement posted on the sanctioned X handle of NEMA on Sunday, November 12.' NEMA stated," The LGAs affected are Rabah, Wurno, and Goronyo LGAs. The victims were attacked by unknown gun men leading to the death of some persons while others sustained different magnitude of injuries. 

" The bandits went further to burn houses, silos, and shops as well as vehicles. Over one thausand creatures were rustled by the fortified bandits. The statement added that the IDPs are taking retreat in near communities like Mai Kujera, Gidan- buwai, Kagara ward, Zangon- jima, Marnoma, and Achifa.
