Tragic Collision in Lagos: 1 Fatality, 4 Injured in Truck and Bus Accident

 

A devastating incident unfolded at Ile-Zik in Lagos as a truck and a mini commercial bus collided, resulting in the loss of one life and leaving four others with serious injuries.

The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority shared this heartbreaking news on its official X handle on Saturday. The accident was attributed to the reckless act of speeding, according to LASTMA.

The caption accompanying the report stated,

"A collision between a truck and a mini bus occurred at Ile-Zik due to excessive speeding."

"Among the passengers, four individuals sustained severe injuries, and sadly, one of them has been confirmed deceased. The remaining victims have been promptly transported to the hospital for medical attention."

"Efforts are currently underway to clear the scene of the accident, while our dedicated officers are on-site, diligently carrying out their duties."
