CAF Awards: Oshimen, Oshola, Nnadozie won the CAF awards.
Victor Osimhen and Asisat Oshoala, both Nigerian players, emerged as the winners of the prestigious Caf Best Footballers of the Year awards in their respective male and female categories.
The awards ceremony took place in Morocco on Monday night, marking a significant achievement for Osimhen, who defeated Achraf Hakimi from Morocco and Mo Salah from Egypt to claim the title.

Oshoala, also known as Agba baller, made history by becoming the first woman to win the award a remarkable six times. She surpassed Thembi Kgatlana from South Africa and Barbara Banda from Zambia to secure the victory.

In addition, Chiamaka Nnadozie, the goalkeeper for the Super Falcons, was also recognized as the best goalkeeper. Nnadozie outperformed Khadija Er-Rmichi from Morocco and Andile Dlamini from South Africa to clinch the award.

Furthermore, the Super Falcons, Nigeria's female national team, claimed the title of the best female national team of the year. They emerged victorious over the Atlas Lionesses and Banyana Banyana to secure this prestigious accolade.
