Davido, Burna, Ayra Star, Asake and others bagged Grammy Nominations.

 The nominations for the 66th Grammy Awards have been announced and Nigerian artists shone in various categories. Burna Boy, who won a Grammy in 2021, bagged four nominations.

 Davido also made a strong showing with three nominations, marking his first Grammy nominations. 

The newcomers Asake, Olamide, and Ayra Starr each received one nomination, making their Grammy debuts. The 66th Grammy Awards will take place on February 5, 2023, and will celebrate the very best in music from around the world. It's an exciting time for Nigerian artists and fans alike!

Some other artists wasn't left out too, Asake and Olamide, were also nominated for the new Grammy category, Best African Music Performance, with their song "Amapiano." Burna Boy also received three Grammy nominations for "City Boys," "I Told Them," and "Alone." Davido's "Timeless" and "Feel" were also nominated for the Best Global Music Album and Best Global Music Performance categories. 

These nominations reflect the growing influence of African music and culture in the global music scene. The upcoming Grammy Awards will be held in Los Angeles on February 4, 2024, and we're excited to see the winners announced!
