The Nigerian police force arrest five suspect in Jigawa State , Recover cables and sheep

 On November 5, 2023, at around 8:30 AM, a 27-year-old man named Mustapha Dahiru from Baskwar village in Babura Local Government Area of Jigawa State reported to the police that unknown persons had trespassed into his house and stolen his sheep at around 3:30 AM that morning.

Policemen on patrol were immediately dispatched to investigate the matter. Fortunately, they were able to arrest three suspects, Isah Musa (20 years old), Sa'idu Bello (21 years old), and Ibrahim Muhammad (18 years old), all from Baskwar village, Babura LGA, in possession of the stolen sheep.


In a separate incident, on November 6, 2023, at around 2:00 PM, policemen attached to the Gwaram Division arrested a 33-year-old man named Tasiu Saidu from Kadawa Miletara quarters, Ungogo LGA, Kano State, with bundles of armored cable wires that are strongly suspected to belong to the Kano Electricity Distribution Company (KEDCO). Saidu was arrested while walking along the Basirka to Darazo Road in Gwaram LGA.

On November 9, 2023, at around 10:10 AM, policemen from the Kaugama Divisional Police headquarters arrested a 21-year-old man named Jabir Ali from Kokoci village, Taura LGA, with three sacks of vandalized cable wires that are strongly suspected to be stolen. Ali was arrested while walking along the Gujungu to Majiya road in Kaugama LGA.



The police are currently investigating all three cases and the suspects will be charged in court accordingly.
