"My Oga" — Amid political tension, Fubara hails Wike on his birthday.

In the midst of political tension in Rivers State, Governor Siminalayi Fubara took a moment to congratulate his predecessor, Nyesom Wike, on his 56th birthday.

In a heartfelt post on Fubara's X page, he referred to Wike as 'my oga' and sent his prayers to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory.

This gesture comes at a time when Fubara presented the 2024 Appropriation Bill to a select group of state House of Assembly members.

Interestingly, twenty-seven lawmakers recently switched their allegiance from the Peoples Democratic Party to the All Progressives Congress.

However, the 27 members who remain loyal to Wike were noticeably absent during the sitting on Wednesday.
