"I have never thought of leaving this summer as Napoli wanted to keep me"— Victor Osimhen

 In a recent interview, Victor Osimhen, the Nigerian forward for Napoli, revealed that he turned down a massive offer from a Saudi club last summer.

 He explained that although Napoli wanted to keep him, the offer from the Saudi club was too good to reject. 

In his words, he said “I’ve to be honest, I never thought of leaving last summer as Napoli wanted to keep me”.

“But when the offer from Saudi came in, it was a huge one. Big one… it was difficult to reject. I spoke to Napoli and I decided to stay”.

However, he ultimately decided to stay with Napoli, as he felt the club was the best place for him to continue his development. Osimhen has had a successful season so far, scoring 21 goals in all competitions for Napoli.
